What is CUET UG?
- The Full Form of CUET= Common University Entrance Test - Under Graduate
- CUET UG is a national-level exam.
- It is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency).
- It is for admission into UG courses at the participating colleges.
- More than 250 universities including central, state, private, and deemed universities offer admission through CUET UG.
- The exam is conducted online in 13 mediums across more than 300 cities in India.

Schedule for CUET-UG 2024
- NTA is going to conduct CUET UG 2024 exam from May 15 to 31, 2024.
- You can expect CUET 2024 Application Form to be released in the 1st week of February 2024 at the official website i.e., cuet.samarth.ac.in.
- The application fee for general category candidates is INR 750 and INR 650 for SC/ST candidates (for up to three subjects). Check CUET Fees Structure 2024
CUET Eligibility Criteria 2024
- The Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognized board.
- There is no age limit to appear for CUET UG.

- Interested and eligible candidates must be aware of CUET UG Syllabus 2024. The syllabus PDFs are available on the official website.
Pattern of Exam/Question Paper
- The exam pattern of CUET 2024 exam is divided into four sections i.e., Section IA, Section IB, Section II, and Section III.

Section IA and IB: These sections include 13 and 20 languages respectively. Candidates have to choose one language from each section. Exam Duration is 45 minutes for each Language and Number of questions 40 out of 50 questions to be attempted.

- Section II: This section is a domain-specific subject-based section. There are a total of 27 domain-specific subjects. Candidates have to choose based on their choice of program. Exam Duration is 45 minutes for each Domain Specific Subjects and Number of questions 40 out of 50 questions to be attempted.

- Section III: This section is called the General Test section. This section includes questions from general knowledge, current affairs, logical reasoning, etc. Candidates may have to attend this section based on their course and college preference. Exam Duration is 60 minutes and Number of questions 50 out of 60 questions to be attempted.
- CUET 2024 exam is divided into four sections i.e., Section IA, Section IB, Section II, and Section III. Section IA and IB are languages-based and Section II is domain-specific subjects based. Section III is a General test section. Candidates need to appear for the General Test based on their choice of course and college.

A Candidate can take maximum of 09 Tests in following manner : Maximum of 02 Languages from section 1A and Section 1B taken together, maximum of 06 Domain Subjects from Section 11 and General Test from Section III
or
Maximum of 03 Language from section 1A and Section 1B taken together, maximum of 05 Doman Domain Subjects from Section 11 and General Test from Section III

Key Points About Examination Centre
The exam centres of CUET are located tentatively around 388 cities in India and 24 cities abroad. Candidates can select CUET 2024 Exam Centre while filling up the application form.
- Candidates are allowed to enter two choices of exam centres.
- The choices of centres will be limited to the state of permanent address or present address.
- If there are few candidates from a City then NTA will have the right to merge one, two, or more cities.

Syllabus of the Exam-2024
- Section I (Language-based): Reading Comprehension – based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary and Narrative, Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary.
- Section II (Domain-specific subjects based): Input text can be used for MCQ Based Questions : MSQ bases on NCERT Class XII syllabus only.
- Section III (General Test): General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/staticsitics) taught till Grade 8), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
CUET UG 2024 City Intimation Slip
- Registered candidates will be able to download CUET 2024 City Intimation Slip from the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in. The city intimation slip consists of the city and state where the exam centre is located. Candidates can download it before the admit card.
CUET UG 2024 Admit Card
- Candidates who will register successfully will be able to download CUET 2024 Admit Card on the official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in.
- Without the admit card, no candidates will be allowed to enter the exam centre.
