Drishti 10 ‘Starliner’

• It is an indigenously manufactured Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).
• It was developed by Adani Defence and Aerospace.
• It is an advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) platform with 36 hours endurance and a 450 kg payload capacity.

• UAVs—sometimes called drones—can be fully or partially autonomous
• These are mostly controlled remotely by a human pilot.

Prasadam

Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare recently inaugurated the country’s first healthy & hygienic food street, ‘Prasadam’, at Neelkanth Van, Mahakal Lok, in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh

Biligiri Rangaswamy Temple (BRT) Tiger Reserve

The Karnataka Forest Department recently started collecting green tax, Rs 10 from two-wheelers and Rs 20 from four-wheelers, entering BR Hills through BRT Tiger Reserve.

• It is located in the Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka State.
• The tiger reserve derives its name from ‘BILIGIRI ‘, the white rocky cliff which has a temple of Lord ‘VISHNU’,

Ugram

Context: The Defence Research and Development Organisation recently launched an indigenous assault rifle named ‘Ugram’.

Key Points about Ugram

• ‘Ugram’ is a state-of-the-art indigenous assault rifle.
• It has been developed by the Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE), a unit of DRDO, in collaboration with a private industry partner.
• It was developed in less than 100 days.

National Sports Awards 2023

• Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports announces National Sports Awards 2023
• President Droupadi Murmu has conferred the Arjuna Awards to various sports personalities at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
• The second-highest athletic honour in India, the Arjuna Award, is given for demonstrating leadership, sportsmanship, and discipline along with good performance over the preceding four years.

• It is a multinational maritime exercise to enhance interoperability between Indian Navy and participating navies from US, Australia, South Korea and Japan.
