Docking trial: ISRO succeeds in nudging two satellites closer.
ISRO conducted its first trial to dock two satellites in space as part of the SPaDeX mission. The satellites, SDX01 (Chaser) and SDX02 (Target), were brought within 3 meters before being moved back for analysis. Italy’s Justice Minister asks court to release Iranian man held on U.S. warrant.
Italy’s Justice Minister sought to revoke the arrest of Mohammad Abedini, an Iranian citizen wanted by the U.S. for his involvement in a drone attack in Jordan that killed three Americans. Abedini was arrested on December 16, 2024, under a U.S. warrant. Italy’s Justice Ministry stated that extradition requires the alleged crime to be punishable under both Italian and U.S. law.
