India and Brazil 2+2 Dialogue

  1. India and Brazil concluded the first ‘2+2’ defence and foreign ministerial dialogue.
  2. Conversations covered topics including defense, space, energy, essential minerals, technology, counter-terrorism, and various regional and multilateral matters of shared
    concern.
  3. The session was led jointly by an additional secretary from the Ministry of External Affairs and a joint secretary from the Ministry of Defense.

Digital Criminal Case Management System (CCMS) Platform

  • The Union Home Minister inaugurated the distinctive CCMS Platform of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the mobile application ‘Sankalan’ – a compilation of new criminal laws by NCRB – through a virtual launch.
  • It is user-friendly, easy-to-deploy, customizable and browser-based software,
  • It has been designed to improve coordination and justice delivery in NIA’s operations.
  • It aims to enable NIA personnel to better coordinate in terrorism and organised crime cases, thereby improving justice delivery.
