Retail inflation is expected to ease to 4.6% this year and 4.5% in 2025-26. India’s growth outlook remains strong, but potential inflationary pressures from global factors could affect it more than other Asian economies due to its sensitivity to exchange rates and reliance on imports. A normal monsoon this year is expected to boost rural consumption. India’s growth is supported by rising consumption and investment.
